A Skill-Building Group for Rising 5th, 6th, and 7th Graders

This summer program is designed to help rising and current middle schoolers build confidence, strengthen social skills, and develop tools to manage anxiety as they transition to middle school. Through interactive child sessions and guided parent support, families will gain practical strategies to foster independence, resilience, and connection.

Format: Two 90-minute in-person sessions per week for 2 weeks (4 total sessions) | Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4pm – 5:30pm 

Program Dates (Choose One):

  • July Session:  Weeks of July 20 & July 27
  • August Session:  Weeks of August 3 & August 10

Cost: $720 total*

*Bundle rate of $1,100 available when enrolling in both the child and parent series.

 

Navigating Middle School with Confidence: A Child & Parent Summer Series is facilitated by:

Andrea Pascarelli at Leiya

Dr. Andrea Pascarelli

Lead Clinician

 

Dr. Pascarelli is a licensed psychologist. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at New York City Children’s Center (NYCCC) – Queens Campus working with children and adolescents in both inpatient, outpatient and day treatment settings. She has worked in a variety of settings including Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle and the Child Mind Institute. Dr. Pascarelli has almost 20 years of experience specializing in working with children with anxiety-based conditions including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, selective mutism, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Dr. Pascarelli has extensive experience using evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), trauma-focused CBT, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and parent-child interaction therapy-selective mutism (PCIT-SM). In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and going for long walks with her dog.

Cost: $480 total*

Dr. Jessica Hamel

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Hamel is a Clinical Psychologist at Leiya. She specializes in working with children with a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and parent-child relationship concerns. She has experience delivering evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), trauma-focused CBT (TF- CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and supportive parenting  for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE).

 

A Skill-Building Group for Rising Kindergarten & TK Students

Social Stars is a 4-week summer group for rising Kindergarteners that builds social confidence through play in a dynamic sensory gym environment. Using OT-informed strategies, children practice entering play, taking turns, reading social cues, and navigating peer interactions through movement-based and structured group activities. This high-energy, supportive group helps children strengthen play skills, flexibility, and connection — so they walk into Kindergarten feeling confident and socially ready.

Format: 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks (12 total sessions) OR 2 sessions per week for 4 weeks (8 total sessions) | 2pm – 3pm

Program Dates: Weeks of June 22, July 6, July 13, & July 20

Cost: 

  • 3 sessions per week: $360/week ($1440 total)
  • 2 sessions per week: $240/week ($960 total)

Victoria Green, MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Victoria Green, M.S., OTR/L is an advanced mentored STAR-clinician, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of Sensory Processing Disorder, via the Sensory Treatment and Research (STAR) Institute. Her specializations include the differentiation and treatment of diagnoses under Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) as developed by the STAR Institute, Therapeutic Listening (TL), and MNRI® Dynamic and Postural Reflex Integration.  Victoria brings years of experience working with youth across a wide spectrum of contexts, ages, and circumstances. Victoria’s work is deeply informed in the therapeutic integration of the nervous system in order to achieve functional well-being. In addition to her clinical work at Leiya, Victoria collaborates with families and early childhood programs around the Bay Area and as an OT-consultant, providing staff training and a supportive framework for sensory-responsive classrooms.

 

Program for 4–6 year old OT kids

These In-Home Environmental Consults offer individualized support to help families design home spaces that promote regulation, focus, and smoother daily routines. Through hands-on observation and tailored recommendations, parents receive practical strategies to address sensory needs, organization, and functional flow within the home. This service is ideal for families seeking actionable, personalized guidance to create an environment that truly supports their child’s unique needs.

Format: 2 sessions per week for 2 weeks (4 total sessions)

Dates: Offered on an individual basis; sessions may be scheduled at your convenience

Includes: Initial call + 2 home visits + feedback/final session

Cost: $1,500 total

Program for Kindergarten Parents

Step It Up is a 4 session package of parent coaching designed to support parents build the routines, regulation and independence skills children need to thrive in Kindergarten. Through practical, OT-informed strategies and simple weekly home sprints, parents learn how to strengthen transitions, listening, and  social confidence. This program turns common Kindergarten stress points into structured skill-building opportunities — so children enter school feeling capable, confident, and ready.

Format: 2 sessions per week for 2 weeks (4 total sessions)

Dates: Offered on an individual basis; sessions may be scheduled at your convenience

Cost: $1,500 total for individual families or $500 total in a group format with more general information

Throughout the series, educators will learn strategies to help students manage separation challenges, navigate transitions, and move more confidently through their school day. Participants will also gain guidance on effective communication with parents, including approaches that promote consistency between home and school and help reduce patterns of anxious responding.

Format: One 60-minute session per week for 2 weeks (2 total sessions)

Program Dates: Weeks of August 3 & August 10*

Cost: $240 per teacher or $500 school-wide rate

*Scheduling is flexible. Please reach out for additional options.
