A Skill-Building Group for Tweens

Does your child struggle talking with peers or adults, asking for help, ordering at restaurants, initiating conversations or asserting themselves?

Join Leiya’s Lead Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Andrea Pascarelli, for a 12-week group designed for tweens who want to build confidence and learn skills for navigating their world. This group will focus on facing social fears, improving communication, and learning ways to successfully initiate and maintain conversations, advocate for yourself, and feel more confident in different social settings.

Dr. Pascarelli is an experienced psychologist who specializes in working with children with a variety of conditions including generalized anxiety and social anxiety.

Dr. Andrea Pascarelli has extensive experience in evidenced based treatment including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), trauma-focused CBT, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and parent-child interaction therapy-selective mutism (PCIT-SM). Dr. Pascarelli specializes in working with children with a variety of conditions including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, selective mutism, obsessive-compulsive disorders, stress management issues, trauma and depression. Dr. Pascarelli has worked with children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as provided school-based support services.
